About Us

 

We are a group of amateur Astronomers of all ages and abilities.

 

We all have an interest in the planets, stars and the

universe. 

 

We discuss the breaking space news, observe the night sky. 

 

We have guest speakers as well as social events.

 

The society meets regularly on Thursday evenings in Block L Lecture Theatre at 7.00pm at:

South Tyneside College,

St Georges Avenue,

South Shields

NE34 6ET

 

Membership fees— £5.00 p.a.

 

To join you do not need any equipment or any previous knowledge

 

All you need is an interest in the night sky!
